Letters and words cut out of newspapers. The visualisation of a repetitive activity of cutting, accumulating, arranging in a greatly enlarged photograph. A hybrid state between photography depicting everything on an equal basis and an edited composition: at first glance a spontaneous snapshot, but in its reduction and balance too precise to be coincidental.
Each image represents a narrative in itself – as a series they form a collection of fragmented, coded and interrupted stories that vary and expand on the same basic theme.
